Rebecca was given up for adoption at birth and spent all of her childhood shuffled around foster homes. When she was 15, she decided she’d be much better off on her own and ran away. She took various jobs doing whatever she could to make ends meet, and even lived on the streets for a while. During that time, Rebecca became heavily reliant on hard drugs and her life began to quickly spiral out of control. It wasn’t until she nearly died of an overdose and hit rock bottom that she took control of her life and got the help she so desperately needed. She checked herself into a rehab facility, and it was there that she befriended nurse Allegra Halliday. Rebecca knows she owes her continued sobriety to Allegra; the woman that took her under her wing and never gave up on her. She has recently made a life-changing decision to move to Port Charles to be close to her friend and better her life. Unbeknownst to her, she is a dead-ringer for one of their most beloved citizens, Emily Quartermaine.
