Michaela is the youngest child of Myra McQueen, if you would know who that was she would be listed as the whore of Hollyoaks villiage. Michaela has four sisters and two brothers (though one sister just passed away and one brother was the reason fo it) You see her brother Niall who she didn't know was her brother at the time came back to town just after she was thought to be a drug addict because of the fact that she was injected with drugs and nobody knew it and she was thought to be a drug addict. Little did anyone know it was her brother Niall who injected her. During the year Michaela decided that her dream job would be journalism. She developed a crush on her friend Amy's father Mike.
Near the end of this year in October Michaela, Mercedes, Tina, Jacqui, Carmel, and John Paul (though later) were kidnapped by Niall. And taken to the church in which Myra had abandoned him. He gave Myra the choice of which ones to kill and which ones not to but there was a way that he did it. She had to answer 6 questions about his childhood. She got two right and four wrong. She chose for Michaela and Tina to survive. It was when the owner of the pub and his son coming in for Niall to press the button to blow up the church everyone made the initial blowup but it was when a pillar fell through and Tina fell in which made Michaela know that she had lost her sister. Her nephew Max has lost his mother. And she had to plan the funeral. She freaked out and stopped going to school, stopped eating, and realized that just because Niall had a half of a church fall on him doesn't mean that he wasn't dead.
So with that in mind Michaela went and talked to her brother in law Calvin Valentine and asked him if he knew anyone that was in Witness protection somewhere that wasn't in Hollyoaks. He said that he had one contact that he hadn't talked to for years and he ended up talking to him. Michaela was the only one talking to her mother at the time since Jacqui, Carmel, and Mercedes were all pissed that they were picked to die. So when she told her mother that she was going to Port Charles to stay so she could get away from Niall she freaked out and cried like a three year old. She packed her things and Calvin sent her away right after the funeral that she planned on her own with no help from her mother (who was still crying about Niall) or her sisters who wouldn't set foot in the house. So she left and had all her stuff sent over to Mac Scorpio's place of residence also in which she was going to stay.
