Lois is Ned's ex-wife and the mother of teenage Brooklyn. Lois was overwhelmed by the overbearing Quartermaines when Brooklyn was a child, and she took her daughter to raise her in her own hometown, the town Brookie was named after. Lois is thrilled by Brooklyn's star singing voice, but realizes she has been a bit overbearing herself in regards to furthering her daughter's career. She has followed Brooklyn to Port Charles to keep up a relationship with her only child. Lois is still a major part of L&B records, and is looking forward to renewing her friendships with Sonny & Jax. Currently single, Lois also wouldn't rule out the possibility of a relationship should she find the right man.
