Karen has been living her life in Austin, TX these past few years after her supposed death as Paige Collins. She had no memory of who she was and began a new life for herself and worked as a bartender at a popular night club. She volunteered her free time working with kids at the hospital. She was happy but there was something missing. Her past. She had dreams at night that haunted her. They were of people she didn't remember, of times she didn't remember. She finally, after being in a minor car accident, had her memory return and is now back home in Port Charles.
