Jennifer Webber is Jeff's ex-wife and the mother of Sarah, Elizabeth & Charlie. She is the stepmother to Steven and grandmother of Cameron. Jennifer has lived in Sarajevo with Jeff until recently. While Jeff was practicing medicine, Jennifer spent time covering the war in the newspaper and eventually as a TV reporter. After several promotions, Jennifer fell in love with one of her co-anchors and had an affair. She threw it in Jeff's face one night, believing he was never over his past love with Monica Quartermaine.
Once Jeff left Sarajevo, Jennifer tried to make it work with her co-anchor in relationship. It fell apart due to Jennifer's deep feelings for her husband. Jennifer had herself transferred to the local station in Port Charles as one of their leading anchors and is returning to the town where her husband and children are. Jennifer is determined to reunite her family and be a real mother to all the Webber children.
