Hayden doesn't know her biological last name is Barrington. Raised as Hayden Winchester by a woman she considers her mother, Hayden has no idea that she is the biological daughter of Andrew & Zoey. Hayden is close to her mother and has been raised as an only child. Having been told her father died as a child, Hayden & her mother have developed a close relationship. Hayden works several part-time jobs to help her mother make ends meat as she knows they struggle financially from time to time.
Hayden is 16 years old and longs to make her mark in the world as an independent woman who is intelligent. Hayden doesn't consider herself very beautiful and relies on her brains for everything. After her best friend was killed recently by a political activist event in high school, Hayden has grown to hate politics with a passion. She is very honest and straight forward and doesn't believe in playing games or hiding things. Hayden is beginning to take a definite stance against politics - she was begun writing independent articles to be published in local papers and plans to become a journalist when she's older.
