Greenlee left Pine Valley in 2005, after
Kendall and Ryan's deceit over their baby. After moving to Milan for a
year, Greenlee worked through her pain and anger by spending money and
shopping but found that didn't help her to get over her losses.
Normally, when Greenlee was upset, she would work at Fusion or start a
new project but now that she let Fusion go--Greenlee felt like she
really had nothing left and was still mourning the loss of Kendall and
Ryan. Deciding that she needed to stay on the move, Greenlee travelled
across Europe for the next couple of
years, trying to get back into working with cosmetics. There were a few
jobs that she'd gotten but none where she was her own boss like at
Fusion and Greenlee had come too far to start at the bottom all over
again.
Settling down in Paris finally in 2008, Greenlee got a job through
Bianca, working at Cambius Industries as Operations Manager. The job
paid well but Greenlee missed the fun and passion she had working with
cosmetics. In early 2009, Greenlee gets a surprising call from fashion
magazine editor, Kate Howard. Knowing
Greenlee's success with Fusion, Kate hires Greenlee as the Project
Manager of the "Couture" store, putting her in charge of merchandising,
design, store visual etc. Having waited for this chance for a long time,
Greenlee takes a leave of absence from Cambius Industries and moves to
Port Charles for a few months to work on her new project.
