Athena is the daughter of Adela Corinthos' sister, making her the cousin of Ric Lansing and Sonny Corinthos. She's part Greek (on her father's side), and named after the mythological Greek goddess of War, which tends to hold true to her angry temperament. Growing up, Tina always knew consciously of Sonny's bad side, but always respected him for his honesty, no matter how brutal it may tend to appear. Though her folks wrote her off as a "bad seed" years ago, Tina isn't really bad, she's just mostly misunderstood. She has a strong love for family, and though she has a strong love for some of her family members than JUST Sonny, Sonny is, however, the only living soul that can get away with calling her one of two lifelong nicknames: Teeny or Tweety. Athena is new to Port Charles, moving there after living in Rome for a few months, she moved to PC to be closer to her two most favorite family members, Sonny & Ric. She is also hoping to obtain a position at the hospital - as its lawyer.
