Angela Clarkson-Marcs
Player: Jen Relationships: Married to Marcus Marcs Angela is the caring, soft spoken mother of Lori Clarkson. She loves music, cooking, and taking care of her family. Living in San Diego, California, Angela used to teach music at Torrance High School, the rival school of Clear Valley High that her daughter attended. Her husband, Jeff Bloom, was the CEO of a big corporation and was constantly traveling. The two had begun to have squabbles about Jeff's leaving all the time for work and not being there for any of Lori's extra recreational activities or his inability to be the husband she needed him to be. After she learned from Lori that Marcus Marcs resigned as principal, they met at one of the basketball games at Clear Valley where Lori was cheerleading and Chase was playing. The two connected on the fact that they both felt as though they were alone because Marcus was divorced and Angela's current husband was always out of town on business. The two started an affair and fell in love, resulting in Angela asking Jeff for a divorce. Lori didn't take the news well and couldn't believe that her mother was now seeing her ex-principal, her disdain for him always showing. Angela wed Marcus eight months ago and has been adjusting to being a stepmother to Chase Marks, who seems to love her like a mom. When Marcus informed her that he was going to be taking a job as the new principal of her old high school, Port Charles High, she took a job at her old almamater as a new music teacher and moves back to Port Charles after so many years of being away, hoping to have a normal and happy life there. Though, she holds a secret that no one in her family knows about and she wants to keep it that way, knowing that it would only shun her daughter more away from her. Lori's acting out has continued and Angela has requested that she attend a weekly guidance counseling session at PCH but is continuing to try and re-build the relationship that she used to share with her daughter.
