Amanda Dillon

Player: Jen
Relationships:
With JR Chandler
Amanda Dillon
is in her mid-twenties. She is the biological daughter of Trevor Dillon
& “crazy” Janet. She has one adopted older brother that she never sees,
Tim. Amanda has been in and out of Pine Valley
for most of her life. She has spent most of her life in the custody of
her father, but is quite close to her mother as well. Amanda’s last
experience with her mother was when Janet assisted Adam in kidnapping
Krystal’s newborn daughter, Jenny. Since then, her mother is in a mental
institution and Amanda visits irregularly.
When Amanda first came to Pine Valley, she aligned herself with JR
Chandler, using her body to get between JR’s love, Babe Carrey and Jamie
Martin. She slowly turned most of the town against her through her
devious ways but began “growing” in maturity when her mother began
self-destructing. She became best friends with Babe and even began a
brief relationship with Jake Martin. Amanda was devastated by Babe’s
death in the recent tornado that swept through Pine Valley. When Babe’s
father David offered to pay Amanda to “help” JR fall off the wagon and
begin drinking again in order to gain custody of his grandson (Babe &
JR’s son), Little Adam, Amanda reluctantly agreed.
Amanda began spending time with JR & Little A, and though she was
successful in “helping” JR fall off the wagon, Amanda began to feel
guilty about it, as her feelings for JR had grown during their time
together and they’d been passionate. She ripped up David’s check and
swore to stay away from JR, telling him she wasn’t good for him.
Now Amanda has discovered she’s pregnant, but she doesn’t know who the
father is – JR or David! Since JR has discovered her pregnancy, Amanda
is allowing him to believe he is the father. However, David also
discovered her pregnancy and has threatened to tell JR she was the one
who helped him fall off the wagon if she doesn’t help him get custody of
Little Adam somehow. If she does that, David will let her keep her baby,
even if it turns out to be his.
When JR suggests a change in hometown to Port Charles so he can
re-connect with his father, Amanda jumps at the chance to move and set
up their “family” together. What will David do when he finds out Amanda
not only has left Pine Valley, but that
the child she’s carrying is his?
