At the
age of 2 her mother died of cancer and her father Sonny Jr, raised her
from the ground up. She was told all kinds of stories of stuff that had
happened in the past with her family. Like how her Uncle Mike was a very
influential man, and he wasn't bad. But then she asked about others in
the family. Her father told her when she was 13 that her grandfather
Sonny died in a car crash (because
that's what his mom Sandra told him he didn't know about Sonny and the
87,000,000 (figuratively speaking) bullets that went through him.) With
the stories she'd heard she didn't want to know much else. She
absolutely adored her Aunt Francesca and cousin yet again Sonny (his
name was actually William blah blah blah the fourth) but she gave up on
her when she was 15 when she ran over her husband with a car and moved
back to New York.
Allie grew up in Florida with her father at her side all the time, she
was a daddy's girl through and through, but then her 18th
birthday came and she decided that she was going to sign up for
university at PCU, a place in New York near the rest of the family, but
she wanted to get permission from her father first.
She asked her father and he said it was okay with him, he suddenly felt
like how his mother felt when he had to take Francesca and Kathryn to
their respective colleges. The last words that he said when he got in
the car and drove her to Port Charles
was "You're mother would have been bawling like a little baby if she saw
where you were." Allie started crying like a little girl, hugged her
father goodbye and watched his father drive away in the New York Sunset!
She didn't want anything to do with the family
business, but little did she know that Port Charles NY was big on
the mob families....
