Jaslyn is the fraternal twin sister of Jason Quartermaine. She left town without a word after Jason rejected her when he became Jason Morgan. She left because Jason was not only her twin brother but he was the only person in their family she could relate to. He was her best friend and he use to look out for her. She can be a bit on the wild side and whenever she would get herself in a sticky situation, Jason was there to get her out.
She is coming back because she has a HUGE drug problem and she's hoping Jason can help her once more. Her time in Port Charles was full of love and pain - she managed to reconnect with her family and kick drugs. She even entered med school to follow in the Quartermaine tradition. It was there she met Tom Miller and the two fell in love. She became pregnant and during the virus ignored doctor's orders to take it easy. She suffered a miscarriage which placed a rift between she and Tom. Both blamed it on her - and that was all she needed to start using again. She quickly realized that she was going down a road that she didn't want to and checked herself in rehab in Europe.
