Victor Cassadine is the brother to Mikkos and brother-in-law Helena Cassadine. Victor has been on the run from the authorities since his early twenties. While on the run from the authorities he fell madly in love with Mecca Parsis.
The two were inseperatable for the year and he was very much in love with her. Mecca was fascinated by Helena and he in turned pretty much against a bond of any kind forming between them and kept them separated. He kept tabs on Mecca and knowing it would be best for all if his sister-in-law was not allowed a relationship with the woman he loved. Their time together was cut short when his dirty hands and deeds finally caught up with him and he was arrested. Convicted of embezzlement and other various business crimes he was then hauled off to prison.
In prison he kept tabs on Mecca and was heartbroken when he discovered that she had married Owen Vanderbilt. Secluding himself in prison, he soon vowed to get over Mecca and forget their time together calling off his men and heir of her and slowly begun to accept that she had moved on. Once out of prison he returned to Greece and the Cassadine family business. Recently he has come to Port Charles at the request of his sister-in-law to help with matters in Port Charles and take on more responsiblity.
