Stefan was presumed dead when he was thrown off a cliff. He washed up on shore and lived with amnesia ever since. Having regained his memory only recently, Stefan has been troubled as to what to do next. He has been keeping up on Helena's travels through town and is preparing a battle against her. Keeping his existence a secret being the only way to surprise her, Stefan has continued to live with the woman he has fallen in love with: the woman who nursed him back to health. Stefan is slowly gaining momentum and plans to return to Port Charles and take Helena by storm. He also wants to reunite with his son, Nikolas, and be a doting grandfather to the child he & Emily are having.
