Michael Westen is a covert operative who has been blacklisted, burned, by some unknown organization, and dumped in an unfamiliar city without money or resources. Forced to stay in Port Charles Michael struggles to put his life back together, find out why he's been cut off, and by whom. Forced to live off his wits and any small investigative jobs he can find in the meantime. Michael is highly skilled with two black belts and the ability to use ordinary items in highly unorthodox ways including improvising electronic devices from commonly used equipment such as cell phones. Not to mention his skills with anything that fires a bullet or has a sharp edge.
A cynic hardened by experience with a soft, vulnerable, side that sometimes shines through, Michael left his home in Miami at an early age because of his abusive father and a mother who refused to do anything about it. Which he believes is a big part of what makes him such a good covert agent and also makes relationships all but impossible for him to maintain.. As a result he hasn't been back home since nor has he had any long lasting relationships. Now he may never have the chance if he can't figure out who burned him and why before his numerous enemies come looking for him.
