Lee Johnson
better known as "L.J." was a kid who came from Asia with his father when
he was just a baby. They had moved to Chicago
where his father had brought a convenience store which was how he earned
a living. Lee's mother died when they were living in Asia due to a
brain aneurysm, her death was unexpected
and Lee's father wanted to start over in another place, America seemed
like the best choice. Growing up, Lee had adapted to living in Chicago
and was very into the urban scene. Being one of the few Asians who lived
in his area, he grew up being friends with a lot of the cool cools kids
and became
very involved in hip hop dancing. Lee's father always encouraged him to
follow his dreams and pursue his goals so Lee would do talent show after
talent show and repeatedly win. When Lee was 18, he was coming home from
a show and he went to his father's job to show him the trophy that he
had won but instead of finding his father, he found cops and an
ambulance who told him that his father had been murdered by two robbers
who came to rob the store.
Even though both his parents had died, Lee was accepted to a private
school in New York on a dancing
scholarship and that's where he moved to and graduated from. When he
turned 23, the person who went to jail for the shooting of his father
contacted Lee, telling him that he knew who really killed his father and
that he was wrongfully imprisoned for the crime. The person gave Lee a
name and a location, Port Charles, and
told him that he would find him there along with the person who killed
his father. Now Lee, taking a job as a hip hop
dance instructor at a dance studio
in town, is on a mission of payback and to put the real culprit behind
his father's murder in jail
