Hamilton met Cheyenne Black in Florida
when he was 20, two years after he started his successful advertising
business. The two took things very fast which ended up in marriage.
Vaughn was in love with Cheyenne and was even more ecstatic when he
found out that she was pregnant with his son.
Just before the baby was born, Vaughn found out that Cheyenne had just
been using him for his money. Hurt that she had been playing him, Vaughn
wanted to hurt her back. He lied to Cheyenne, telling her that his name
was actually Vincent Caine (Vaughn's twin brother) and he wanted nothing
to do with her or their child. Vaughn left Cheyenne
nine months into her pregnancy and
divorced her, moving his business to Italy.
When their son DeMarco was born, Cheyenne
knew that she wasn't ready to raise him on her own so she put him up for
adoption. Though, she left DeMarco's birth
certificate with the adoption agency.
Cheyenne told them to put in DeMarco's file that when he was 18, to let
him know who his real parents were.
DeMarco Meyers turned eighteen a month ago and found out that his
parents were "Vincent Caine" and Cheyenne Black when his birth
certificate was mailed to him. DeMarco knows that he's been adopted all
his life but has never known his biological parents. Being adopted never
affected him and he's grown up a decent kid. After some research, he
found out that both his biological parents died in
Port Charles; the town that his adopted
older sister, Allyson disappeared from.
DeMarco moves from his family home in Florida to Port Charles, attending
the university. He just wants to find out some things out about his
biological parents and there's also a hope that he will find out
something regarding his sister's mysterious disappearance.
