Cole Thornhart is the son of the late Patrick Thornhart and the late Marty Saybrooke. For a brief amount of time, Patrick and Marty lived in Ireland with a newborn Cole. Patrick, Marty, and Cole moved to San Diego and lived there for 16 years. However, on Christmas 2005, Patrick died. Marty had fallen into a depressing era of her life. Luckily, Cole came up with the idea of moving. With this idea, Marty became positive, and, meanwhile, homesick. She decided to move back to Llanview in September 2006. Near the end of 2007, Cole lost his mother making him an orphan. The state of Pennsylvania gave guardianship of him to Antonio Vega, which meant another move for Cole. He has just moved to Port Charles, hoping to move on with his life without any family.
