Chris has one motto - look out for number one! Although a talented doctor, Chris is greedy and manipulative and will stop at almost nothing to get what he wants!
Chris is in his mid-30s, and has a younger brother, Jack. Chris' heart was seriously broken after he fell in love with Julie Devlin and helped deliver her daughter, Christina. Her daughter is named after him. When Julie lost custody of Christina and kidnapped her, Chris vowed never to fall in love again. His heart began to mend after Julie died and returned Christina (now to Christine) to Lucy.
Chris' best friend was Eve Lambert. They were famous for their drinking nights and had strong chemistry together. Chris was devastated when Eve died in a car accident years ago and never recovered from her death. He left town after having a relationship with an officer in the PCPD. While away, Chris continued to educate himself as a doctor and was always looking into new procedures. He has built a reputation for being highly talented and skilled surgeon, and has been sought out numerous times to perform tricky operations.
Chris has heard about the virus spreading through Port Charles. Deciding this was another great way to add a notch to his belt (trying to beat the virus), Chris gets himself appointed a staff member at General Hospital. He returns to the town that is full of mostly bad memories, determined to beat the virus and ten leave again. Unless something...or someone...can convince him to stay.
