Chace Marcs was the typical jock at Clear Valley High. He used to drink, sleep with all the girls and than play them out, and bomb his grades. The fact that his dad was the principal made Chase feel like he could do whatever he wanted but Chase's mother stayed on top of him to make sure that his academics improved. He used to pick on Lori when she was a sophomore and he was a junior because she wasn't one of the cool kids. Lori had even asked him out but he humiliated her in front of the school. When Lori changed her look and became one of the "Hot Chicks", Chase started to see her differently but Lori didn't want anything to do with him, seeing as how she had gained her own popularity. When his parents suddenly divorced during his junior year unexpectedly, Chase dropped out of school for a little bit and was forced to repeat junior year all over again, missing out on college with the rest of his friends.
Now being in the same grade as Lori, Chase finds himself on the opposite end of the spectrum because he's known as "the dumb jock who got left back". Though, a surprise comes to him when he finds out that his father has been seeing Lori's mother! Neither one of the teens are happy with the situation but Chase comes to like Lori and eventually sees her a mother figure when his mom stops contacting him seeing as how she moved away after the divorce. When their parents get married, Lori and Chase are forced to move into together and have been dealing with the new living arrangements as best as possible. Though, now that Chase is in Port Charles, he's striving to do better and get back to his former glory as being "the man" at PCH. His grades are good, he's captain of the basketball and hockey team, everything is going good for him. However, his "sister" Lori is still a pain in his side and he finds himself cleaning up after her messes, seeing that she's still upset about her own parents' divorce.[Back]
