For most of Cesar Faison's life, he has hated Robert Scorpio. And even though they were on opposite sides, he loved Robert's wife, Anna. Over the years, Cesar has caused some real damage to Port Charles. He was part of a cartel that created a toxic substance to be used to control the global business market. He even went as far as to poison Tiffany Hill and in exchange for his cooperation, he gave Sean Donnelly the antidote one pill at a time. Eventually this plan was foiled and he left town...but not without leaving his mark. He kidnapped Anna and disappeared. When Robert went after her, the boat they were on was rocked with an explosion. All three were presumed dead...even though they had all survived.
Faison was the first one to resurface. In 1999, Luke was doing business with an diamond smuggler named Herr Kreig. Soon he, Felicia and Mac realized Kreig was really Faison. He showed up in Port Charles and began tormenting Felicia. Mac was furious that the man who killed his brother was walking around free and he couldn't do anything about it. Soon Faison kidnapped Felicia, and then tried to kill her and Luke. Mac saved them. They couldn't pin anything on Faison and he was getting ready to leave town. But not before he revealed something major - he had been hired by Helena to brainwash Lucky. He told Luke that his son was really alive before he was again presumed dead in a boat explosion arranged by Helena.
Now he is back again...and this time he is out to destroy the Scorpio family and anyone unfortunate enough to be close to them. He is proud that no one has ever discovered his scheme he has been working on for nearly two decades. At his birth, Cesar kidnapped Colin Scorpio and Anna and Robert were told their son died. Instead he was raised by one of Faison's lovers. Cesar visited often, becoming a paternal figure to the young boy. When Colin was old enough Faison began to fill his head with stories of how Robert and Anna killed his real father in cold blood. He has nurtured anger and the need for revenge in the young man and is now ready to set him loose on his true parents. And that is just one of his plans...look out Port Charles!
