Antonio was happily married to Jessica Buchanan and living his life as a father to his daughter, Jaime. Until Tia Lord worked her way through her defenses. Struggling after the hard hit he suffered through Jessica's marrying Tico, Antonio allowed himself an affair with Tia. After his marriage ended, Antonio quickly ended the affair, regretting his stupidity. His job at the LPD began suffering as Antonio lost concentration in everything except his daughter.
Instead of firing him, Bo worked out a deal: he'd transfer to a PD in another state. Agreeing, Antonio didn't even ask which state. He didn't care, as long as it allowed him the chance to start over in a new town with his daughter and his job. Once there, Antonio was horrified to discover Tia was there as well. Keeping himself away from her thus far, Antonio was thrilled when Jessica arrived in town too. They are now working at a second attempt at their marriage, and Antonio is looking forward to moving forward.
