M&M's...no, not the candy...Mobs and Molls!...a woman can do the job just as a good as a man can!
Where there's a strong man, there's an even stronger woman standing behind him! That saying couldn't be more true in the city of Port Charles. Most of the time, the mob bosses are the ones who take care of business but sometimes, the women behind the scenes can be more lethal than the actual mob boss himself. Kicking ass and taking names later, not being afraid to speak their mind, and going above and beyond to ensure that the men in their lives are safe, these few women have definitely done more than enough to earn the title mob molls!
The First, Carly Corinthos-No one deserves this title more than Mrs. Corinthos. Having fought for her marriage time and time again to battling Sonny himself for their children, Carly has shown that she is more than just a mother of three. When Michael was kidnapped by AJ's alter ego, Carly moved heaven and earth to try and get her son back from his biological father. Not one to hold her tongue, Carly's fast lip has taken down the biggest of men, including her own father, John Durant. And don't mess with her family because she will come after you with both barrells! In her standoff with Marisol Vargos over her brother, Devin Ross, Carly made sure that Marisol knew if anything happened to her brother because of Marisol's mob involvement, there would be hell to pay! Fearless, Carly Corinthos has always been the first woman to embrace the mob with both hands and has stood by her husband, defending him to the death which is exactly what a good mob moll should do!
The Former Queen, Marisol Vargos-Even though Marisol has stepped down from Carlos' side, that doesn't mean that this mob moll's bark is now any less ferocious than her bite. Unlike most men whose wives marry into the business, Marisol helped Carlos building their empire from the ground up. Being involved in all the meetings and tasks, at times Marisol was the one even calling the shots in her husband's absence while he was having affairs! Her most dastardly deed to date is when she teamed up with Vincent Caine to have Chloe Roberts kidnapped which resulted in the young woman being raped. Not only did Marisol hate herself for her part that she played in the matter but she pulled a gun on Vince to retaliate against for what he did to Chloe and threatened to kill him! Mama bear to the fullest extent of the word, Marisol will do anything for her children Javier, Katia, and Nate. Now that her son has been kidnapped, Marisol has once again been dragged back in the mob life, will she ever be able to fully get out?
The Sharped Tongue Beaty, Catalina Alcazar-Blowing into town as the sister of Lorenzo and Luis, Catalina is a mob moll by association. The most involved in the business out of the women in her family, Catalina's interests normally benefit her and it has been proven by her barfight with Hera Jackson that she's not scared to get her hands dirty. She's also very knowledgable about many aspects of the mob and it is not revealed as to how she's gained all this information as of yet. However, devoted to her family, Catalina's soft spot comes out when she chooses to. When Tea Delgado requested Catalina's help in getting out of town to get her daughter away from Todd Manning, Catalina agreed to help her cousin and even offered to finance her trip with Alcazar money! Also, when FBI agent Billie Prescott asked for information to help out away Gustavo, after much hesitation, Catalina put Billie onto the fact that she should look out for Trevor Lansing, Gustavo's new lawyer!
The Brunette Bombshell, Samantha Morgan-Being the only mob moll to ever fully be able to handle Jason's lifestyle, Sam has more than earned her right to have this title. Out of all the woman who have come in and gone in Jason's life, Sam has not only tolerated her husband's lifestlye choice but she has accepted it! Even though she doesn't have hands on experience with the mob, Sam is more than capable of being the woman that Jason needs for the kind of life that he lives. She's devoted, strong willed, and is not afraid to do what needs to be done to keep her family safe even if it means moving in with the Quatermaines for a little while! Sam loves Jason unconditionally and like Carly, will make sure that her husband is never locked up for doing what he does. Standing behind her hitman through and through, Sam is surely one of the best mob molls in town!
The Kind Hearted Lioness, Eden Alcazar-The mob moll who tries to stay out of the business as much possible, Eden has become the backbone of for the Alcazar family. She's caring, understanding, but don't let her soft demeanour fool you. A mixture of both Cassadine prowess and Alcazar spitfire, Eden has proven that she can go toe to toe with the best of them. Married to Lorenzo, Eden is the voice of reason for her extended family. Both Diego and Sage have come to see her a mother figure and value her opinion. Her rivalry with Hera Jackson has shown us that Ms.Alcazar can be just as witty and feisty as the rest of them, as well as her on and off again relationship with sister-in-law, Catalina. Though she's not necessarily approving of her husband's life like most of the mob molls, Eden supports Lorenzo one hundred percent and gives him the respect that she believes in him enough that he will keep their family safe from outside influences!
The
Vicious Vixen, Claudia Zacchara-Older sister to mob boss, Jonny Zacchara,
Claudia is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to her brother.
Showing more of a motherly love for her little bro, Claudia makes it her
life mission to make sure that Jonny is ok and stays safe. Other than
Marisol Vargos, Claudia is the only woman who actually has hands on
involvement in the mob and helps makes decisions in the business which
makes her probably one of the more powerful molls on the canvas. Using
her feminine wilds, Claudia isn't ashamed to use her God given assets to
get the things that she wants from men. This helpful ability was
displayed when she got a date with local schemer, Daniel Samsonav, and
also snagged expert hitman Liam Kilpatrick before any other organization
could employ him! When it comes to her brother, Claudia does not play
games and will do whatever necessary to protect him...even if means
doing the wrong thing
The Iron Fist, Honor Justice-The youngest and newest addition to the mob scene, Honor deserves some kind of mob moll title just because she's the first woman ever to be an enforcer! Being called in personally by Carlos, Honor's abilities to protect the family that she has come to call her own cannot be called into question. Thinking of Javier and Katia as her own siblings, Honor will put herself on the line for any of the Vargos clan to ensure their safety. Upon arrving in town, she jumped right into the fray when she heard about Gustavo Giovanni and went right to work trying to find out what she could about the madman. Coming off very abrasive and all business, Honor does have a heart and will do what is needed to make sure that the Vargos' remain unharmed at all costs!
