Xavion is one of the games' most dedicated members. He is constantly thinking of innovative storylines and has created some of the game's most memorable characters. And to top it off, he has become a regular contributor to the GHC website. So it was only a matter of time before I picked him for the interview!
1) Currently, what is your favorite story that one of your characters is involved in? What is your favorite story that does not involve any of your character? Why do you enjoy them?
My favorite story that a character of mine is Gustavo Giovanni in the "Giovanni Mob Wars" storyline! I love it so much because it allows Gustavo's character to not just interact with other mob characters but almost the whole canvas! He's dedicated to getting what he wants by any means necessary and that means anyone on the canvas could be at risk! The blackmailer story and Vaughn also have me really excited for the other storylines that are going to be created from the current story. A story that doesn't involve one of my characters would have to be Todd and Tea and the revelation about Elena. It's been building for so many months and I've been waiting for "new" Todd's reaction to when he finds out the truth and it was worth the wait! Mandy and Chris have a way of portraying TnT's complicated history with just the right amount of understanding from both sides but still they manage to keep each character true to their reasons for doing what they've done in the past that's not affecting their future. Good job, guys!2) Who are a few of your favorite characters in the game?
Wow, there are so many characters to choose from because everyone plays them so well! I love Devin because he was my first creation in GHC and he's become such a deep part of the canvas. Mia, Jonny, and Billie definitely are up there too! I love Claudia Zacchara because she's a kick ass female; Sadie Harlow and Honor Justice are both two characters who I've come to love as well. Spinelli, Carlos, Carly, Gabriella, Sam, Wyatt, in no particular order!
3) What are some of your favorite couples?
Ohhh, good question! I'm a sucker for romance so Jonny/Gabriella because they remind of Romeo and Juliet and Allison/Caleb. Roz/Aries because they've been apart for so long and still managed to keep the love strong. Kyan/Wade because they've overcome so many obstacles to get where they are now. Luke/Laura just because they're the first supercouple ever. Eden/Lorenzo, their love just seems so genuine. Sage/Talon because they've also endured their own tortures and came out together in the end. Justus/Brenda due to the fact that Justus has to leave her at the alter now :(. And Patrick/Robin because they're just too cute for words.
4) If you could pair any two characters who would that be?
Hmmm, any two characters, who would I pick? Well, I love Carly/Jax and I would like to see how he would deal with his daughter AND Carly who are both very similar. Also, I would kinda like to see Talon and Sam just because they would be pretty together :). A Durant/Rae possibility still kinda intrigues me as well as Jonny and Clover because she would be the total opposite of the kind, gentle Gabriella! Luke/Tracy would be hilarious too!
5) If you could be any other character in the game, who would that be and why?
I would love to play Maxie, I love her character and since I got to temp her for a few days I love her even more. Carly would definitely be a challenge because she's such a meddler but her heart's always in the right place. Playing Todd would be cool too because he's kind of like a villain (everyone knows how I like playing the bad guy, lol) but than again he's not. Also, playing Claudia would be fun because she's so independent and take charge. Patrick Drake, Catalina Alcazar, and Ric Lansing are also on my wish "playlist" LOL.
6) What has been your favorite twist in the game so far and why?
I know one of the biggest twists in the game for me so far has been Cleo not really being Sonny's daughter. I never would have thought twice that someone would be able to deceive Sonny so easily but he fell for Cleo's story hook, line and sinker. I was happy when he got her back in the end though with Angel's trust fund! Ax’s alter was definitely a shocker. Talon being a Spencer was one of the first big shocks for me too because I had just entered the game and tempted Scott Baldwin who had to reveal the truth to everyone!
7) What would you like to see happen to other characters in the future of the game?
I would like to see Todd and Blair give it another go or just realize that they're better off apart than with each other because they're both so immature, LOL! I would also like to see what happens with Claudia and Daniel, I think both could use a little bit of love in their life to soften their hardened hearts. Also, I would like to see Tia get her comeuppance for lying about having Caleb's baby and for Caleb and Allison to stop beating around the bush and just admit that they wanna be together! And lastly, I want to see Luis evaluate his feelings for both Dawn and Kristina and than make a choice as to who he wants!
8) What would you want to see for your characters in the future?
After all the things that he's done and will do in the future, I want to see Gustavo finally pay for his crimes. I would like Alexis to find out the truth about Ric cheating on her so she can stop feeling so blessed to have him in her life. I want Jason to be honest with himself about his feelings for Elizabeth and to try and make a move out of the mob life and get closer to the Quartermaines again. I want Devin to get Nate back and be happy with Skye finally after such a long time of struggle. Kyan needs to come clean with Wade about how he feels in regards to their relationship and also I want to see what it's going to be like for him working in the mob as well as dealing with his ex-best friend Charlie. Also, I would like to see Mia let go of the hate that she has for her biological dad and also let go of Ian, as well as come into her own in the fashion world.
9) Anything else?
All I want to say is that I joined this game a few years ago (3 or 4) maybe and never once have I gotten bored with the creative characters or innovating storylines that everyone keeps coming up with! I used to RP in a lot of groups and this is my first soap opera based group but when I found it, it seems that I hit the jackpot because I'm in a game with people who share my passion for writing and who all have hot ideas to keep the game interesting and entertaining :). Let's make 09' just as great as 08'!
