Well when drawing names out of a hat, you have to expect your own name to appear. This month I managed to pull out my own name. So sit back and listen to what I have to say!
1) Currently, what is your favorite story that one of your characters is involved in? What is your favorite story that does not involve any of your character? Why do you enjoy them?
Hmm...well, I know I can't choose one. I love 'Baby Makes Three' because it's so light and fun, and like Katie pointed out last month Steven and Gia are not a couple on the show. We can give them their own unique history. I am looking forward to the hurdles ahead. I am also enjoying both 'The Phoenix Rises', 'The Royal House of Cassadine' and 'La Familia Corinthos' because they are centered around families. I am proud to see so many family storylines here. As for ones, my characters are not involved in...I really like "The Law fights back'. I love the idea of Reese, William and Durant ganging up crime. I also like ReVamped because it is something the real GH does not show - strong women doing business!
2) Who are a few of your favorite characters in the game?
I have many, and I will not add my own ;) Ladies first - Allyson Meyers (because she is so cute!), Autumn Brown (I am STILL trying to figure her out), Carly Corinthos (Loved her since Day 1), Elizabeth Webber (I love her storyline!), and Laura Spencer (love that she fighting for her family) Now the gents - Lorenzo Alcazar (the gentleman), AJ Quartermaine (the tortured soul), Steven Webber (the cutie!), and John Durant (the instigator).
3) What are some of your favorite couples?
I love couples who are dancing around their feelings, tempting one another but not quite giving in. I am so not a fan of instant love. You know, two people meet and bam, suddenly they are each others soul mates and everything is so perfect. Where's the slow burn? The one that drives the male and female crazy (as well as the viewers) until they are just begging to be together. It's so satisfying to see a couple who have danced around one another for so long to finally give in. So of my own, I think I really enjoy Luis and Allyson because they are complete opposites. It’s obvious there is an attraction but they refuse to give in. I am also enjoying trying to rebuild Eden and Lorenzo, because it’s similar in some ways. They are attracted to each other but she doesn’t want to go back down that road for fear of being hurt. Steven and Gia are my favorite light and comedic couple…I think that the upcoming angst (*hint, hint*) will really test them. For couples I am not a part of, I have to say I really love Devin and Skye because Xavion has worked real hard to make the original character a solid piece of the canvas. I could totally see Devin as a character on GH. I am also glad to see that iconic couples such as Alan and Monica are a huge part of this game.
4) If you could pair any two characters who would that be?
I am a huge fan of unconventional couples – trying something that has never been tried before. I love that some people are veering away from the show and trying new things. I want to encourage everyone to try your hand at it. I especially like trying opposites…hmm, like regal Stefan Cassadine and klutzy V Ardanowski. I also think John Durant and Felicia Jones would be interesting…they hinted at it on the show and never followed through – typical! I have to say that I wouldn’t mind seeing Ric and Elizabeth try it again – they were my favorite on the show before I threw in the towel. But in this game, both characters are building solid relationships so I think that is more a wish for the show! (One of many…LOL!)
5) If you could be any other character in the game, who would that be and why?
Hmm, Elizabeth Webber has always been a favorite of mine but I don’t think I have ever really played her. The same goes for Carly Corinthos. But I have to say – all the characters are in good hands in this game. That is one of the things I love about this game, people really seem invested in their characters.
6) What has been your favorite twist in the game so far and why?
Well, first off I will go with the obvious answer of Talon’s true parentage. I was so convinced it was a Cassadine so when Scott came bursting in to reveal the truth I was like “Damn…that’s good!” Real smooth, Chris! I also really liked the revelation that Carly has a teenaged daughter (with Jax of all people!)…Carly with a teenager…look out Port Charles!
7) What would you like to see happen to other characters in the future of the game?
I think I would like to see warring ex couples such as Robert and Anna, and Frisco and Felicia find some sort of peace. I want to see John and Carly finally find some sort of even ground to start on. I can’t wait for the world of Port Charles to know Stefan Cassadine is alive. I also want to see just who Autumn is gunning for because it’s driving me insane!
8) What would you want to see for your characters in the future?
I seem to be collecting an impressive amount of characters so I will just highlight a few wishes. I want to see Sage and Luis slowly become father and daughter because I think they are very similar. If they ever decided to work together it could prove dangerous for others. I also want Luis to pursue Allyson for all he’s worth. I want Mac to get a little peace but I don’t think that is going to be in the cards for him this summer – not with what I have planned. Sonny needs to know he is Kristina’s real father no matter if it blows he and Carly apart or not. Ric needs to realize he can fall in love again even though he’ll fight like a madman not to believe it. Eden needs to continue to embrace her family and her Cassadine roots – but she also needs to give into her feelings for Lorenzo. Gia…well, with what I have planned, she just needs to realize that no matter how dark it gets there is a light at the end of every tunnel. I just want all my characters to continue to go through the rollercoaster of life…never really slowing down!
9) Anything else?
First off, I would love to see the current pace of the game continue – people are always thinking up creative storylines. I hope that never changes! I love how people seem willing to veer away from the show. I also hope that as the game continues people search for fresh storylines. The title of the game is GH Changes...so I hope that when I look at the game say by the end of the year everything isn't the same! And second - a big thank you to all the members of the game. I had never imagined my little game would get so big! I have been having a blast, and I enjoy the time and effort EVERYONE puts into this game.
