Jen
Jen is a long standing member of GHC, being with it since the beginning (with one little leave of absence). She has played a wide range of characters and always creates interesting and fun storylines!
1) Currently, what is your favorite story that one of your characters is involved in? What is your favorite story that does not involve any of your character? Why do you enjoy them?
Well, with the current mob storyline, most of my characters are involved
in that so it’s tough to think of any that do not involve them. I am
quite enjoying the Kristina storyline, and watching her revenge on
Alexis get closer. I love her playing opposite Catalina and watching as
the two of them found a common ground through Luis. And although I
am not a huge fan of Liasion, I have to admit I am loving their scenes
and the way that Xavion and Elyse play them. However, truth be told, I
will still want JaSam together in the end. Kudos to the two of them,
though, as I’ve hated Liasion for as long as I can remember! Another of
my favorites is Dillon & Lulu and watching them plan a Spencer/Quartermaine
wedding. That can only have way too many possibilities for trouble!
2) Who are a few of your favorite
characters in the game?
This kind of question was a lot easier when there were less players, lol.
For the women, Marisol has been one of my long time favorites, as well
as V. Mia, Trish and Clover are definitely
climbing the ladder in each scene their in. Then
there’s the everyday favorites: Carly, Alexis, Georgie, Sam, Fancy,
Sage, Eden … the list is terribly long. For the men, Gustavo has quickly
become one of my favorites. I love Liam,
Zander, Javon, Luis, Jason, Devin, Lucky and Trevor as well.
3) What are some of your favorite couples?
Devin/Skye, Milo/Chloe, Dillon/Lulu, Johnny/Gabriella, Lorenzo/Eden, Jax/Courtney, Kyan/Wade, Zander/Fancy, Frisco/Bobbie to name just a few.
4) If you could pair any two characters who would that be?
It
wasn’t until it was mentioned on one of the polls, but I love the idea
of Lorenzo/Elizabeth. It would break my heart if Lorenzo lost Eden, but
I think he’d be a good match for Elizabeth. Stefan/Anna, Stefan/Holly
also piqued my
interest. For characters that are not related to me, Zander/Carly,
Lucky/Gia and Sonny/Eve would all be interesting.
5) If you could be any other character in the game, who would that be and why?
I would love to be Carly. Why? Because she is my absolute favorite character in the entire soap history and I loved playing her. I regret losing her, although I think Lizzy is doing an amazing job playing her. I just miss her!
6) What has been your favorite twist in the game so far and why?
One of the biggest recent twists was at the end of the first Billie/Gianni scene where she revealed she knew who he was all along, although Xavion played like Billie had no idea for the entire length of the scenes. That definitely surprised and delighted me. More long term, there are too many to list. This is what happens when you have such a group of talented writers as we do in this game. There’s an unending list of twists and turns, and all of them are equally fantastic and is why GH should just fire their own writers and hire the lot of us.
7) What would you like to see happen to other characters in the future of the game?
I hope Sam & Jason are able to move back in to their penthouse and focus on raising their daughter together. I hope Bobbie & Frisco get married and live happily ever after. I hope Justus, Kate, Vaughn and Nathan overtake their blackmailer and get revenge for what they’re going through. I want Tea to keep Elena and keep her as far away from Todd as possible. Mostly, I just want to see the right amount of love and happiness mixed in with all the angst we’re providing our characters with.
8) What would you want to see for your characters in the future?
I would for Helena to keep messing with the lives of those who get on her nerves, especially her families’. I want her friendship with Victor to be sincere, as I believe she needs someone to count on in her life. I want Lorenzo & Eden to have their child and to continue the love that has kept me so enchanted with them since the beginning. I also would like to see Lorenzo/Catalina respect each other enough to bridge the gap and mend their relationship – siblings are important! I want Alison to find true love with Caleb and to have their relationship to take off. Again, I just want to see the right amount of love and happiness mixed in with all the angst we’re providing our characters with.
9) Anything else?
I’ve been here since day one and with the exception for a brief time where my life took over and I was unable to participate, I’ve been a huge part of many stories. I look forward to continuing this journey for as long as we keep it going and I am glad that I get to share this ride with all of you!
