  • June 30, 2002. A general assembly of all Ghanaian students in Aalborg was called at which the idea of GHASA was rooted. By unanimous decision the first Co-ordinator was chosen to put the association on its feet
  • September 13, 2002. The first Co-ordination team comprising Anthony Adjapong (Co-ordinator), Antoinette Ahiable (1st Deputy), and Rexford Ofosu (2nd Deputy) was established at a general meeting
  • October 16, 2002. The statutes of the association was promulgated at a general meeting
  • December 31, 2002. A general end of year party was held for members of GHASA
  • January 25, 2003. The second Co-ordination Team was elected in the persons of Charles Anim-Boateng (Co-ordinator), Ralp Essem Nobjor (1st Deputy), and Irene Lartey (2nd Deputy).
  • February 1, 2003. GHASA was inaugurated by H.E E.K Adu, Ghana Ambassador to the Nordic countries. The new Co-ordination Team was also inducted into office.
  • February 3, 2003. The official website of the association was lunched.
