Lesson Plan Report

INTRODUCTION.

The teacher helped with the preparation and presentation of the project reports. He also chaired the presensations and the subsequent discussions.
The students did the research on recycling polythene waste, did their calculations, plotted their graphs and presented their reports as well took part in the discussions.

SUCCESSES AND CHALLENGES

Generally all went well. The major drawback was when there breif moments of connectivity problems.
Also the age old problem of high student to computer ratio reared its head.

CLASSROOM ORGANIZATION AND LOGISTICS

There was no problem with the computers used except for those breif moments of loss of connectivity. Time was however extended for students to finish with their work. Students had to work in groups with 5 students sharing a PC.

SUGGESTED CHANGES

It is advisable for sites that students are expected to visit to be downloaded unto a PC so that students can research offline.

FEEDBACK

Feedback was very positive from both students and teachers who were invited to caome and witness the teaching.
Being a Headmaster myself, I will push for this kind of teaching/learning process in my school.

ASSESSMENT

Students made group presentations using power point. After each presentations discussions were held on the contents and mode of presentation. Useful suggestion were made.
I strongly feel that there was more effective learning on the part of students.
