MEET MY FRIENDS Friends are the greatest gifts given to us by God. Friends are those angels sent from above for us to keep us happy and to make all our wishes blessed. I have a great set of friends and each of them are great and caring in their own way. Here are a few of them listed as they came to my mind. These are few of my friends from my undergraduate, engineering college.
Nithya Sundaram
I call her Nithu. She is doing her Masters at Temple University,
Philadelphia. She is a very lovely person and my dearest. She takes care of me like a
mother. She used to feed me and she listens to all that I have to tell her. She is an
excellent artist and does great
 Manonmani Mohandass I call her Mano paapu. She is working in India. She is a very sweet kid. She is more a kid to me and Nithya than a friend. She is a very great artist and she keeps cracking jokes all the time and makes us laugh. She is a cartoonist. Mickey mouse is her favorite cartoon character. So she is also called Mickey Mano sometimes.
 George Varghese I call him Georgie. He is working in Chennai, India. He is a very wonderful friend. Always keeps me happy and enjoys talking stories. Both of us used to talk for hours telling stories. He has a very sweet smile and almost everyone in our college is a fan of his smile. He is short and sweet.
Nirmal Nath Amarnath
He is doing his Masters at The University of Utah, Salt Lake City. He loves cricket and was the cricket captain of our college team. He was a district player. He is a very good
person and has a lot of friends and loves to spend his time with friends. He loves fishes
and loves maintaining acquarium.

She used to teach me great things in life. She is a very great dancer and she loves making friends. She loves me a lot and we love to spend time talking to each other at late hours in the night.  Himavalli Kona She is doing her Masters at University of Texas at Arlington. She is tiny and is shrewd. She keeps her place neat and is very organised. She is well planned in all that she does. She is doing her Masters at the University of Denver, Colorado. She used to make us all laugh all the time with her wits and actions. She is a very jovial kind of a person. She is my senior in college and a very great person and a very dear friend of mine. She always patters me and calls me her pet. I miss the long long talks we used to share in hostel. She is lovely and loves me and cares a lot about me, however busy she is at work.
 Sudha Devarajan She is popularly called Cammy. She is currently doing her PhD at Northwestern University. She did her Masters at the Oklahama State University, Stillwater. He is doing his Masters at Portland State University. He is a very good friend and a very great artist. He portraits girls very well and he is am amazing artist. He loves chocolates like me and lives on chocolates and Pepsi most of the days. Darpan Khosla He is popularly called Dappu amongst our friends. He is working in Thailand now. He is a very sweet person and a very jovial person. It is fun to listen to him, especially when he tries to talk in Tamil. He is a Punjabi and had a great time learning Tamil, taught by our friends. The best part is, he used to sing Tamil songs with his limited knowledge in the language..!!! Shankarshna Madavan I call him Shna and sometimes as Vetti. He is doing his Masters at Michigan State University. He is a very intelligent person and enjoys pulling my legs and complaining about me to my parents. He loves music and plays Mridhangam, a Classical Indian, two-sided drum. He is a very jovial person and he is the driver for all the trips we had had with our friends. A good driver..no doubt. He is a very talented person and heading towards his MBA very shortly. He is a good friend and a very good listener. Shankar Narayanan We call him PSN, to cutshort his name. He is working in Chennai, India. He is a very intelligent person and has amazing knowledge on current affairs and politics. He is currently the 'Ulagam Sutrum Valiban' of the gang. He has been at work abroad twice and there we derived his name. He is called Fruit when we were in college. Naresh Kumar Varadharajan He calls himself as Nash...wanted to become John Nash...he's trying hard at it. He is pursuing his Masters at University of Oklahama. He likes making friends and spends a lot on little things in life.
 Pradheep Balaji He is a Lt. General now in India. He is very shrewd and has a lot of leadership qualities. We had done one of my paper presentations together. The following are my friends at Dallas.
 Vishnupriya Gopalakrishnan She is a very good person and takes care of me like my sister used to. She is very kind and listens to me very patiently.  Prasanna Venkatesh Mani Parthasarathy Popularly called Hariharan of UTD. Professors find it very difficult to say his long name. He is a great singer and keeps upto date on songs and movies. He is a very nice person and a singer too. He has knowledge on everything on earth..except computers. He sings very well and it is fun watching the two Prasannas talk about cinema and songs.
