Clif Stektee married (1) Doris Japinga; born 25 FEB 1913 at Holland, MI; died 25 APR 1979 at Holland, MI; daughter of Henry Japinga and Alida Overway; daughter Gayle Alice Steketee; born 23 OCT 1940; married David Wehrmeyer; born 07 JUL 1941; son of John Wehrmeyer and Fenna Slenk; children Todd; born 18 NOV 1963; Jodie Wehrmeyer; born 13 NOV 1967.

Si Steketee graduated from Holland High School and attended Hope College, Holland, MI. He seved in WWII, in a military police division for twenty six months. He was an electrical supply salesman for a few years before buying Holland Electric Supply Co. in 1957. In 1967 he became a partner in De Pree Electrical Contracting Co., Holland Electric Motor and Supply, and S. & D. Co. He was active in the Illuminating Engineer Society and Assoc. Builders and Contractors.

Si taught sunday school for several years and served on the Consistory in Trinity Reformed Church. Early years hunting was his sport. Golf took up his leisure time in later years. He died of cancer in 1978.

Alma graduated from Holland High School and attended Holland Business College. She was a saleswoman part of the time along with her household duties. She taught sunday school for 16 years and was also active in Women's Literary Club, Holland Genealogical Society, Western Michigan Genealogical Society, Holland Historical Society and was appointed by the City Council to Historical/Cultural Commission. Her hobbies are genealogy, bowling amd golf.

i. Sally Jean Steketee, born 15 MAY 1943 at Holland, Ottawa, MI; married 26 AUG 1967 David Rice Tapley; born 10 MAR 1940 at Bloomington, OH; son of David Tapley and Elizabeth Guard.

Sally graduated from Hope College, taught spanish at Lakeview High School, Battle Creek, MI. David, an Industrial Engineer graduated from Northwestern University and took graduate courses at Western Michigan University. He is a member IMMS, College and Trade Societies and lectures on computer engineering. He has more than 22 years experience in computer systems technology and holds a patent for generalized micro processor software control onboard an S/R machine. His hobbies are tennis, skiing and reading. David and Sally are active in Central Reformed Church. Dave is an elder while Sally is president of the Women's Guild.
