Dan attended East Grand Rapids High School and received a degree in engineering and D.J. degree in law from the University of Michigan. He is a practicing attorney and senior member of Varnum, Riddering, Wierengo and Christienson. Barbara received a B.A. from the University of Michigan; taught in Ann Arbor while Dan attended law school.

Irene played the piano for Uncle Otto's quartet and was a pianist for Gospel Fellowship Church. |
