ATTENTION ALL GPFHA MEMBERS: RE: Important news about where to go to find information regarding GPFHA events Good news from the Paso Fino Horse Association!  The Paso Fino Horse World Magazine has been brought “in house.”  It will be edited by Stephanie Dunkin (one of “our own”) with ads being sold by her as well. What this means to you as a member is that the cost to advertise has decreased substantially making it more affordable for regions to advertise and get information out to you.  The Regional News portion of the magazine is still up in the air for now as the amount of editorial content is directly affected by the advertising content. Look for our GPFHA ads regarding the Open House (March 21-22 at Chicopee Woods, Gainesville, GA) as well as an ad for the “Four Beat Jubilee Show” (May 15-17 also at Chicopee Woods) in the PFHW published in February and in the March/April issues.  Only the information page for the show will be in the magazine.  The entire show schedule will be available to the general public on the website.   As always, we will continue to have information on the site for our members and non-members to keep up with our activities.  A list of our Officers and Committee Chairs will always be available if you need to contact someone regarding a particular event. Welcome to the Georgia Paso Fino Horse Association

In 1976, the Georgia Paso Fino Owners and Breeders Association was created by a small group of owners in the Atlanta area. Since that time, we have evolved into the Georgia Paso Fino Horse Association which has become a state wide (and beyond!) organization consisting of outstanding horses and people!

We are able to enjoy our horses together in a variety of functions. We sponsor at least one trail ride per month with many others listed in our calendar of events. The spring show is held each May in Gainesville, GA. Our Open House in April is growing each year with 30 horses in 2007. This is the first year for our “Ambassador Program”. It enables GPFHA members to acquire points for getting their Pasos into the public forum. At the end of the year, prizes will be awarded to the top exhibitors. From trail riding once a month (and more) to Paso Fino shows, from clinics to parades, we are introducing more and more people to the wonderful world of the Paso Fino.

As a group, we share our own experiences and information with each other as well as new and prospective owners in hopes of increasing the pleasure of owning and riding these fine horses. GPFHA prides itself on being a diverse group, all of whom have one thing in common: the love of the Paso Fino.

We are happy to say that the Association is growing with each passing year! More people than ever before are interested in the Paso Fino and want to be involved with our organization. GPFHA will be there to encourage and inform any and all who are interested in this wonderful breed. Even though we know that the Association is a business, we will never loose site of the fact that “it” is all about the Paso Fino, family and friends!

GPFHA is alive and doing well! In the years to come we hope to make more new friends as well as see those familiar faces. We will never forget our humble beginnings as it keeps us striving for the growth, preservation and future of the Paso Fino!
