| Once Marty is completely suited up in a yellow radiation suit and Doc puts on his helmet and gloves Doc very carefully removes a pellet of plutonium from a bright yellow case. With Marty filming the whole process Doc places the pellet at the mouth of the energy chamber and screws it in, with in seconds the plutonium is sucked in. As soon as that's done, Doc removes his helmet assuring Marty it's safe as everything is lead-lined. As he takes the empty pellet over to the case he tells Marty to keep the tape safe as he wants to keep it as a record. |

| Grabbing a suitcase Doc packs it into the front of the DeLorean, explaining it has cotton underwear among other things in it as he is allergic to all synthetics. He goes on to explain he is going 25 years into the future. "I've always dreamed of going to the future, seeing beyond my years..." It all sounds very noble until Doc adds. "I also be able to see who wins the next 25 World Series." However, once the camera is running again, Doc strikes his classic scientist pose an announces he is about to go on an historic journey, but interrupts himself. He's forgotten to pack extra plutonium! And as its only one pellet, one trip, if he doesn't take it, he'll be stuck! But before either Marty or Doc can move their is a bark. |

| Doc asks his dog what's the matter and in response Einstein whines...but Marty still facing Doc can't see what's going on as Doc looks of in the distance his face becaming a mask of horror. "My God," he whispers, "they've found me, I don't know how, but they found me...Run for it, Marty!" Marty doesn't understand who is it? "Who do you think?!" Doc demands, pointing wildly. "The Lybians!" Marty whirls around to where Doc is pointing and see the headlights of a van, and seconds later there's the sound of gunfire! |
| Doc ducks just in time, as bullets hit the side of the van where his head would have being, and yells to Marty that he'll draw their fire. And his right, though a few stray shots go near Marty the van is heading straight for Doc, or who has grabbed a gun, unfortunately it jams and as Marty watches in horror as more and more shots are fired. |

| But it's too late, Doc is cornered by the Lybians as he tries to get away, and despite throwing his gun away in surrender the Lybians show no mercy. They shoot Doc right in the chest, sending the scientist flying before Marty's horrified eyes. |

| As the Lybian spots him, he turns his gun on Marty and he only just manages to take cover around the van as shots go on all around him. As Marty goes to make his escape, the Lybians cut him off and it looks as if he is going to meet the same fate as Doc.... Until the Lybian's gun jams. |

| Marty leaps into the DeLorean to escape, just as the Lybians van stalls, Marty takes one last look over his shoulder at Doc's lifeless body before gunning the engine and just as the Lybians start their van again, Marty takes off in the DeLorean. |

| The race is on, with the Lybians hard on his tail Marty quickly changes gears, but he can still see the Lybians in his rear mirror, the gunman aiming for him. The only way Marty can avoid the shots is to keep swerving and luckily he's got the better car! |

| At least until the Lybians bring out a rocket launcher! When Marty sees THAT in his rearview mirror he slams on the accelerator and speeds away as fast as he can from the terrorists. |
 |
| And as the speedometre heads higher and Marty heads straight towards the Fox Foto stand a there is a bright light behing him, and then in front of the DeLorean... The Speedometre reads 88. |
