N: I thought it was about time I came to see my little sis. This is a nice little hospital you�ve got yourself.
He gets short of breath and Lara puts the oxygen mask back on his face.
N: Anyway I needed to check out this Spiller guy you�re seeing.
L: That finished a while ago Neil and you know it.
D: Come on get the mask back on it�ll help you.
N: So where is he?
L: It�s a long story����.
Lara explains the whole Patrick story and she even brings herself to tell Neil about the new complication; Holly.
N: So what are you gonna do sis?
L: What can I do he�s made his choice. He made it the day he told me it was over. As far as I�m concerned he�s blown it.
N: I know you don�t mean that. Leave it for a week or so then talk to him. Tell him how you feel. He�d be mad to not want you.
L: You haven�t seen Holly.
N: What�s so special about her? Didn�t she leave him to go to Germany? She didn�t tell him he was a father, how can he possibly want to be with someone like that over you?
Duffy: Lara, phone call.
L: OK. I�m coming.
(She takes the phone) Hello.
Patrick: Hi it�s me. I suppose you�ve heard?
L: Yeah I did. How�s Holly?
P: As well as can be expected. She�s at mine now, when I left she was asleep.
L: When you left?
P: Yeah I�m stood outside the main doors wasting credit on my phone, can you take a break?
L: I suppose I could for you!
P: See you in about 30 seconds then.
L: Yeah bye.
Lara slung her coat round her shoulders and ran outside to meet Patrick. She looks around but can�t see him, she turns to go back inside and he�s stood behind her.
L: Christ, you scared me.
P: Sorry. I needed to see you.
L: It�s OK. How are you?
P: I�m OK considering. I didn�t even know about him Lara. How can she possibly justify keeping something like this from me? Seeing her again brought back all my old feelings for her but now I�m not so sure.
L: I�m here for you Patrick remember that.
He puts his arms round her and hugs her. When they pull apart he goes in to kiss her but she pulls away.
L: Don�t do this Patrick. I can�t handle you leaving me again.
P: Are you blind? I�ve been trying to get you back. Why wont you give us another try?
L: I�m not prepared to get hurt again. You broke my heart. I loved you so much.
P: I want you Lara. I�ll leave it for now but when Holly�s gone we�ll talk. OK?
L: Fine whatever.
