P: What happened?
H: I went to Germany and after a few weeks I found out I was having Luke. I picked up the phone to ring you but I couldn�t. I wanted to tell you so much, I just didn�t know how.
She starts sobbing uncontrollably and Patrick takes her in his arms and holds her.
P: I loved you so much Holly, I still do.
H: There�s no one else??
P: There was but I couldn�t. I never really stopped loving you.
H: I� I� I love you too Patrick.
They kiss and Luke suddenly starts to scream.
They pull apart.
P: Duffy! Get resus clear he�s in VF!
They rush into resus and start CPR.
P: Come on Luke! Don�t do this to your mum and me.
H: Patrick save him please.
Duffy: Come on Holly you don�t want to see this. Let�s go and get you a cup of tea.
H: No! I�m a doctor I know what to do. Please Patrick let me help.
P: No Holly, go with Duffy she�s right.
H: Look after him.
She turns her back on her baby boy just as his heart stops. The sound of the monitor gets louder and louder in her head and she breaks down.
P: Shock him.
Max: Charging at 160. All clear. Shocking.
Holly turned around to see the lifeless body of her baby being jolted around on the trolley.
H: Stop it! Don�t do it to him!
P: But Holly�.
H: Just stop.
In the relatives room Holly was sat curled up on a chair crying her heart out. Beside her was Patrick. He was trying to be strong for Holly but he couldn�t hide his grief.
H: I�m so sorry Patrick I should�ve told you sooner.
P: It�s OK I don�t blame you.
H: Well you should it�s my fault you never knew your son.
P: What was he like?
H: He was so quiet normally that�s how I knew something was wrong. He was such a good baby.
The tears start rolling down both of their faces and they hold each other.
Back in resus Max is talking to Duffy.
M: We should�ve carried on; we might have been able to save him.
D: It was Holly�s choice but I can see where you�re coming from. Did Patrick know about him before Holly brought him in?
M: I don�t think so, he�d have said something wouldn�t he?
The phone rings.
M: RTA. 3 people, ETA 5 minutes. Is Patrick up to it?
D: I don�t think so. I�ll get Lara in.
Duffy goes to ring Lara when Patrick appears.
