We've planted four trees in this area: apple, pear, Western Chokecherry (a native - not visible in this shot) and a Leyland Cypress. There are two Butterfly Bushes, three Coneflowers and various other perennials and annuals. (I will try for a better photo - it's hard to see details.) There is also a birdbath, a hummingbird feeder and a suet feeder. We still need to do something about that fence.... |

We've added two more Butterfly Bushes (still small at this time of year), several Lamb's Ears, and a Penstemon. We lost one of the Coneflowers and the Bee Balm is not doing well this year. The drought is taking it's toll on the plants. We've also had a serious problem with red spider mites on the apple and pear tree. |
