This is the story of a man who can not sleep because of a Noise 
he hears every night in his bed. The outline story of the MIP is 
about how TRENT discovers his real nature while he is trying to
solve the mystery of that Noise. TRENT is the protagonist and while he 
is trying to solve the mystery of the Noise, the audience identifies
itself with him, following the action either from his P.O.V. or from 
different CCTV cameras that follow him, portraying TRENT�s 
reality.   
 With this film, I tried to experiment with issues of visualization 
of the flow of time as an assemblage of still images. Movement, 
which creates the notion of duration, proliferates in-between the
almost static images of the dog. I worked towards the creation 
of the machinical feeling of the movies of the Early Cinema 
(see use of cards and text instead of voice overs). As long as the
image is concerned, I used the depth of field as a �figure of 
temporalisation� (G. Deleuze, Cinema II, 110) e.g. as depth of 
time, to lead the attention of the audience onto the screen not 
using zooms and tight framing but  the focused and blurred 
areas of the image.
