These can change in a heartbeat. What I loved yesterday I may be indifferent to tomorrow.
TV Show: The West Wing This is one of the best written shows I have seen in years. When I think of other innovative shows I think of Saint Elsewhere, Thirty-Something, L. A. Law each of them innovative for their times and each very much copied. I can't put my finger on what it is that these shows have in common but each somehow changed my perception of TV and what the traditional three bland American TV networks could offer if they tried.
The current lineup of shows I try to catch.
Music: Music plays a large roll in my life. I personally am not musically inclined i.e. I can't carry a tune and have two left hands. I mostly listen to classical. I listen to the blues, Pop and Country less often and in equal measure. This often changes according to how soon I get burned out with any one particular type.

Italian food at "Restauranti El Centra" a KC 3 star restaurant
and at the "Olive Garden" (not a 3 star restaurant)

Reading - I would rather be reading a book than either surfing the web or watching television. I can never get enough Sci-Fi. Though I do enjoy reading many other types of books, Sci-Fi is by far my favorite type.
Parties: Though I love to dance, my idea of a perfect evening is getting together with a group of people, friends and strangers, for an evening of conversation. The broader the topics the better. I recently went to a friends house for an evening of board games but ended up spending the evening talking. We discussed subjects ranging from this years presidential primaries to Israel as a theocracy verses a democracy. My fellow conversationalists included both democrats and republicans, Americans, Swiss and Checs, Students, bankers, professors and small business owners.
