Last entry: Dinner a movie and dinner
As I said we were running a little short on time. I needed to be at the airport to pick up Charles around 2:00. After viewing the show we wondered around the museum for another hour or so then took a few experimental shots of David in the garden.  It was way to hot to do much. We will have to plan another trip when the weather is better. We re just now entering the hottest month of the year so will have to plan on doing it sometime in September.

We headed up to the airport to pick up Charles.  We took our time knowing that flights almost never land on time and having already gotten a heads up from the airline that his flight was now schedualed to be about 20 minutes later than originally anticipated. By the time we got there parked and walked up to the terminal Charles was there and waiting. I wasn't expecting that. This time things went closer to what was originally planned and he hadn't checked in any luggage so he was ready to go. Also this time the greeting was more conginal. One funny thing happened as we were getting together. At first David and I couldn't find Charles so he called Charles on cel phone. As we were walking in the termanal they were talking to find each other, I saw Charles coming our way and they two continued talking to each other on the cel and exchanging barbs. Just as David hung up to took the phone from him and began to talk to Charles, we were now in talking distance from each other and the fact that the call was disconnected was ilrelivant. So we continued to talk as if we were both on the phone.  You should have seen the looks on peoples faces as they watched us talking to each other on the phone while face to face. It was quite funny.

On the way to the airport David told me that he had been invited out for the evening to two different events. One was out for drinks with a friend/client and the other was out to the movies with his boss and her wife to see the new Julia Roberts movie in the VIP room at the Palace theater here on the plaza and wanted to know if I wanted to join him at either. On the way home Charles invited us to join him at a local gay club for their Sunday Aids benifit show, which is always fun. In the end I turned down all the invitations wanting to just come home and spend time in my own space. A decision I somewhat regret. The movie is one that I have been wanting to see and as I said the "Flo Show" at the Cab is always fun. I have a bad habit of turning down invitation out wanting to spend time at home, as if I don't spend enough, when in reality I should get out and about more. More with friends that I do see fairly often, more with friends whom I seldom get a chance to see and also out to meet more people. Though I am comfortable in  my aloneness and as a single person I know that any chance I have of meeting any one with whom I would want to share my life is out in the big world. Out as both Charles and David are meeting and dating.  If there is to be a man in my life he is not going to drop out of the sky into my lap. Though I feel that having a man in your life will not necessarily complete you or forfill you, he can make life better complete.

So that is were I am now. Home alone finishing this journal and now preparing for bed. So unitl next time.

Ciao
