Lesson # 14269
I am writing this a week later and this will be a fairly short lesson.  There isn't much to write.  I had a relitivly quite weekend. Saturday was simple and straight forward.  I spent most of the day piddling around the house.  I didn't even do much of the much neede house work.  I made the mistake not once but twice of turning on the TV.  So most of my morning was waisted watching nothing and I do mean nothing on TV.  I don't think I watch a whole program from beginning to end. My mid day I was quite bored and decided to finally head out to brookside to do a little more of my holiday shopping. That barely took two hours. I know what I wanted and went and got it I only spent a few minutes parusing the iles in each store to make sure that I wasn't missing out on some great thing that I hadn't thought.  I went up and down each eyle at a brisk pace looking both left and right at each shelf to see if anything jumped out at me.  I had been to each of the stores more than enough in the last few weeks to not be suprised at anything they had in stock.  I walked in each store walked the eyles, got what I wanted and checked out.  As is becoming the norm for me in each case I got behind someone who was having one difficulty or another and was taking up more of the checkers time than would have been necessary if they had come up prepared. I was proud of my self, I didn't get empatient or anything and just waited patiently until my turn came, check out and left.  As I said this took just about two hours in all and I was done.  I got home unpacked and sorted my purchased and I was done for the day.  I had accomplished something so I felt unconcerned when I flopped down and turned the boob toob back on.  this has become an all to familiar habit, one that I must work to break myself of. (yes a dangling participal) So once again I ended my day as I had started it by zoning out in front of the toob.

Sunday I was deturmained to get a better start.  this time after the prerequisit SS&S and breakfast I headed out to the plaza. This time I was on a mission.  I didn't really know what I wanted but I knew that I would know it when I saw it and I took a little more time in each shop.  As I have explained before each year I try to get my closest friends and I identical ornaments and something striking was what Iwas after. I didn't want to spend all day down there so I didn't go every where but I did look around.  I didn't find what I wanted but I was sure it was there.  I proceeded to get a couple of things that friends had specificly said they wanted and headed home.  Even though the day had started out pretty cold and I was dressed for it it got down right fridgit and I was ready to head home.  Again I unpacked and sorted what I got and guess what.  I plopped down and vegged once again.  This time while watching the weather report for Monday I saw that we were in for some snow and I got up and preped my clothes for the morning.  I am faily anal about my work clothes and I press and sort them well ahead of time so that I can just reach in choose what to wear ahead of time and not have to worry about missing buttons or shirts needing to be pressed.  But for a particularly cold day I needed to make additional choices sweaters and such.  Once that was done I was back to my bed prep rutien and to the end of a normal quiet boring weekend.  Hopefully when I next write I will have something of more substance to tell you about.

ciao
