One ominous morning it was discovered that the Kings wife was kidnapped and the King Himself murdered. The whole empire went into military readiness. A 200 mile limit was set up off the coast even into the Keoland waters. Even though tensions were high with Keoland they didn't object. Southland ships scoured the Jerlea Bay and the Azure Sea for any signs out there. Spies were contacted throughout the continent for any word but no one knew anything that could solve the problem.
Then, 6 months later, a body was dropped off at the castle. The body was that of the Kings' wife. The deliverer was interrogated and released due to a Mind Wash placed on him so as to not give us a lead. A huge SPD was carved into her chest. Her throat had been slashed.
The SPD was an organization believed to be created and run by the old Sea Prince terrorists. They razed coastal lands from the Azure Sea to the Grendep Bay. Most of the SPD ships were used in the war between the Sea Princes and the Scarlet Brotherhood. Most of those were sunk by the Brotherhood and saved the King the hassle. But a few were still roaming. A million GP reward was issued for the heads of any proven SPD scum. A few were delivered. Alas at least one was still at large. Cowards, all of them.
The empire was in mourning for the loss of the greatest Man and Woman whom ever lived. A holiday was declared and all Mythos other than the Finnish were respectfully put aside to devout eternal loyalty to one whom was seen as a Father of all. A statue of the King and his wife were erected on the same temple grounds as Mielikki, King Azurazs' Goddess. Thousands of people lined up every day to pay homage to Mielikki as thanks for guiding the King and his wife to their final resting place. Rulers from around the globe came to pay their respects. The World wept.
