Civil unrest erupted in The Yeomanry and threatened to spill out into the surrounding countries. Being a neighbor the King didn't want The Southlands to be caught up in it because it would disrupt trade and tourism and bring the economy down. So the King amassed his loyal battle hardened veterans and liberated the Yeomanry peoples of all the torment of internal warfare. They became so grateful that He was appointed the ruler almost unanimously.
King Azuraz set to recreating trade routes and treaties with as many countries that were interested. The economy of the former Sea Princes was almost in ruins, mostly from the former rulers but partly from the war too. Even the Great Kingdom sent a representative. Ironically, the rep. from the Great Kingdom "recognized" the "Southlands". I'd rather burn every last one of them to a crisp. That'll be explained later. This meeting with the rep. is important later on.
The King and his wife had a son and named him Andikar. Andikar tried so hard to be like his Father. In fact he tried so hard he seriously injured himself and needed powerful Clerics to heal him. Finally the King had to order his Son not to endeaver to follow in His own footsteps but to make a name and place for himself in the chronicles of time. So he did.
