Nazarene Missions International
NMI
NMI Mission Statement:

To mobilize the church in mission through prayer, education, giving and
      interactive experiences.

Fullfilling The Great Commission, Matthew 28:19-20

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to
obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you
always, to the very end of the age."

Objectives of NMI:

1.  To encourage people to pray for all the efforts of world evangelization.
      2.  To inform people of the world's needs and what the church is doing
           to meet those needs.
      3.  To challenge children and youth to learn about and participate in the
           mission of the church.
      4.  To raise funds for mission outreach.

At Gentle Shepherd our missionary meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm.  Each month has a special emphasis such as:

*World Mission Broadcast
      *Alabaster Offering
      *Compassionate Ministries
*Thanksgiving and Easter Offering for World Evangelism
      *Work and Witness

During each missionary meeting a lesson is presented on a particular country and its assigned missionaries.  Time is spent in prayer for the highlighted country and for requests through the Prayer Mobilization Line (816) 444-PRAY or online at www.nazarenemissions.org/pml

Children are special to us at GSN and they are an important part of missions.  Children's missionary meetings are held bimonthly on Wednesday evenings.  They have the opportunity to read books on missionaries and to actively participate in each lesson.

Come, join us and learn more about what the Church of the Nazarene is doing in 146 countries and how
you can help fulfill The Great Commission!
