There is no way you will descend
You feel it would be your bitter end
So you surrender your abode
And all hopes to which were owed
Though you bare it rather hard
You flee now out into the yard
Many zombies you hear in the back
A horde too great to ever hack
Your choice it seems was rather smart
Though it saddens yet your heart
But you muster now the strength
To flee now at risky length

You  make your way around the block
Under cover of night's clock
Toward the police station you go
And hope deep down does slowly grow
Surely there all would be well
A haven safe beyond this hell
Cautiously you tread each road
Over no more corpses have you mowed
All awake and up to kill
A battle of the stronger will

You arrive there with no trial
Evasive steps all the while
But the scene looks rather dim
Zombies lurk at the frontward brim
There's no way you can sneak past
Not even with feet so fast
Then there's the matter of the door
Unlocked now in this time of gore?
You remain hidden much in doubt
And wait for hope to come about

Then came through a window high
A flash of light, and you sigh
Someone signals you from above
And out the door does a small fleet shove
A group of men with guns attack
Now new hope comes flooding back
Soon you're rescued and rushed inside
With comfort now you do abide

Far too few, yet just enough
With weapons and arms at call to bluff
Yet you still feel safe indoor
Away from death and blood and gore
For days you live safe at bay
Glad to be alive each day
Yet the food does get scarce
And hope once again grows sparse
The cops go out on raids for food
Fighting past the zombie brood
Two weeks go by since it began
You each survive as well you can

Then one day just after noon
As hunger moved in to swoon
The raid came back with food to eat
But suffer they some in the feat
3 along the day had died
Those left behind in grief had cried
But little much did they know
About them deceit did go
For one was bitten in the task
And now he hid behind a mask
Into a zombie soon would turn
So their haven soon would burn

Half past midnight he was dead
As he suffered in his bed
Yet once again opened his eyes
To become which all despise
And as he stalked abroad the base
Those would scream before his face
Yet too late for most were dead
Just steps away from their own bed
And now all the cops were killed
For this, fate had it willed
Those remaining running around
As death and mayhem reeled abound
New zombies now arose to life
Ceaseless now all this strife
So now you must decide
Whether to stay or run and hide
Will you save all who's left?
Of your shelter won't be bereft
Or to say the hell with it
Let others save their own shit?
