The leather-clad man replies easily "Oh, it's not bad - reminds of that time in Palm Springs me and my buddies raised hell".

The Devil doesn't like that, since he thrives on the discomfort of his guests, so he goes to his thermostat and raises it to the highest level of heat. He returns to his newest guest and says "Well, what do you think of it now?"

As he removes his leather jacket, the man says "Whoa - this reminds me of riding through the Mojave Desert once with my buddies". This really upsets the Devil, so he returns to his thermostat one more time and turns it all the way down.

He finds his new conquest shivering from head to toe, icicles forming on his mustache. "How do you feel about this?" he asks.

"Wh-wh-what happened", the man asks, "did the Broncos win the Super Bowl?"
