Soccer Ball - Spike Ball - Beach Ball
We have already done, once upon a time, the Soccer / Spike Ball.
There is no reason we can't do it again.
It is an intermediate level workshop because consistent seams
are important.
A Spike Ball is a Soccer Ball with the pentagons replaced with Spikes.
Another variation on the theme is a Duo-Deco Spike Ball below.
This would be a very long sewing project. It has about twice as many parts
as the Spike Ball
A Beach Ball is a Soccer Ball made entirely from triangles
A Soccer ball uses 11 pentagons and 20 hexagons.
A Beach Ball uses 55 triangles of one size, and 120 triangles of another
size.
175 parts, not counting the finishing collars and tabs.
There is some sewing involved.
