A Personal Size Banner: This has mutliple purposes. It is an easy sew, it is small enough to use a cheap pole (PVC from Home Depot or Lowe's) and it will help us with our Ground Display in Newport this summer.

This could be a beginner workshop.

 A 6 foot version looks real good marking 'camp' when out flying kites.

A 4 foot version is great for marking your table at a banquet . . .

The photo is from the 2002 AKA Convention in Ocean City, MD. The big ConnectiKITERS Banner is 20 feet tall. The small ConnectiKITERS banner is 6 feet tall. The 'AKA' banner next to it is the old version of our 'personal' club banners.

The intention in this workshop is to make the banners 'quick and dirty' without appliqueing the letters. The letters can be done later at home if desired.
