About Me

So you have come here for me to tell you a bit about myself. I suppose I can humor this request. My name is Brian Breeden, I am 19 years old and unmarried. As far as physical descriptions go, brown hair, brown eyes, around 5' 10" tall, slim build, nothing special.

I was born in 1987 in Jefferson Memorial Hospital in West Virginia. I grew up accustom to independence while spending many of my childhood years exploring the hills and wilderness of West Virginia. My home town is Harpers Ferry where I do eventually hope to retire to.

When I was 6 I got involved with scouts, I remained an active member for almost 12 years with Troop 159, where I attained Life Rank. Through Boy Scouts you learn allot more about yourself then you may ever know. You learn to look out for one another and learn morals of good character. I would suggest this experience to anyone out there. If you enjoy camping and spending time with good people in a christian organization I would suggest scouting over anything.

Around the time I joined scouts I also got registered in Soccer through Frederick County Parks and Recreation. I was an active member until I aged out of their youth program at age 18. Through soccer you learn team work and discipline, which are both qualities I bring to not only the soccer field but to school and also to work.

I graduated from Sherando High School in June of 2005 with a General Degree. I specialized my senior year in Sherando's Business Department. Where I attended just about every class they had to offer. Including: Web Media and Desktop Applications, Intro to Accounting, Business Management, and Computer Information Systems I & II.

While in high school, starting my sophomore year I became involved in the organization that changed my life, Future Business Leaders of America. My Senior year I took part in many competitions, including Job Interviewing, Partnership with Business, and our Business Management Business Plan. I placed first in Job Interviewing on the regional level and went on to compete at the state level. My team with Partnership with Business placed First at the state level and then traveled to Richmond to compete nationally with competitors from all across the country.

Fbla isn't all about its competitions or the awards you get for being the best at a certain task. It is about ethics and how to carry yourself in the work place. It taught me that I have it within myself to successful. Through FBLA I met many great business leaders who showed me, its not all about your resume, its about what's inside that matters. You need to be able to carry yourself as an individual if you want people to look at you beyond your resume and qualifications. I would recommend this experience to ANYONE and EVERYONE.

Just because I graduated high school doesn't mean my education process is complete. I am now carrying my education to the next level by attending Lord Fairfax Community College to get my Associates Degree in General Studies. Then I wish to transfer to James Madison University to finish with a Bachelors Degree in Multimedia and/or Graphics Design. I believe an imagination is as good as knowledge, and that would be the perfect major for me.
