William CONNELL was born in 1798 in Bay Branch, Darlington County, SC.³⁴ He died on 2 Nov 1859 in Marion County, Florida.³⁵ Died between 26 Nov 1859 and the taking of the 1860 Marion County, Florida, tax roll. He was dead prior to 25-26 June 1860, being the period of the 1860 Marion County census. At this time the census lists only Nancy Connell and William Connell (William Randolph Connell, her son) as residing in the household. William CONNELL and Mary Nancy POSEY were married.

33. Mary Nancy POSEY was born on 14 Dec 1806 in South Carolina.³⁴ Children were:

	i.	James Isaac CONNELL was born on 7 Dec 1823 in Darlington County, South Carolina.35 He died on 5 May 1898 in Ocala, Marion County, Florida.35 He was buried in Concord cemetery, Gadsden County, Florida.35
	ii.	Nancy S. CONNELL was born on 31 Dec 1825 in South Carolina.6 She died on 11 Jul 1912 in Ocala, Marion County, Florida. She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Ocala, Marion County, Florida.6
	iii.	Martha Jane CONNELL was born in 1830. She died in 1880 in Ocala, Marion County, Florida.36
	iv.	Susannah Wood CONNELL was born in 1833 in South Carolina. She died in Ocala, Marion County, Florida.
