John Rogers was born about 1696. His parentage is unknown thus far. He married Mary Newton (b. abt 1796-d. B/f 1748). John died before June 11, 1760 in Stafford County Virginia.

MISC NOTES: WILL OF JOHN ROGERS; STAFFORD COUNTY VIRGINIA -July 12, 1748- July 1767 PG 379-80;

IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN!!, I John Rogers of the county of Stafford being sick but of perfect memory, do make this my Last Will and Testament. I give to my son Grisby Rogers, 2 shillings and 6 pence sterling. ITEM I give to my daughter, Mary Colclough, 2 shillings and 6 pence sterling, to be paid to the said childern as soon as it can be raised out of my estate by my executor. ITEM I give to my son William Rogers, the remainder of my estate, as I also desire that my estate be not appraised and lastly I appoint, William Rogers my only and sole executor.
